Meursault "Les Charrons" -

From the Côte de Beaune this wine is located at the bottom of the mountain (north of Meursault village and next to the 1er Cru area) where the soil consists of limestone, chalk and clay. This plot of land was used years ago to grow trees for the purpose of making carts (‘charrette’ in french) hence the vineyard is named ‘Les Charrons’.
