Puligny-Montrachet "Les reucheaux" -

Located south of the Côte de Beaune from a calcareous and clay soil favoured by the chardonnay grape. Our Puligny Montrachet stays loyal to the area’s all important aromas offering the citrus’, the honeys’, the roasted hazelnuts, the vanillas’ and a mineral palate with soft characteristics that define the Great Wines of Puligny.

Nose :  An open nose with characteristics of citrus - complimenting the essence of a great Puligny and of course the scents of fresh honey and vanilla.

Palate :  The woodiness is harmonised by hints of fruitiness. The aging is done in French oak barrels which aids to the touch of almonds and roasted hazelnuts giving a powerful and generous structure. The palate is very delicate and flexible thanks to its depth in minerality.

Temperature :  10° C

Gourmet agreement :  Scallops and lentils, or fresh goat’s cheese served cold.

Aging potential :  10 - 12 years and more
